Optimall - A Modern Solution For Sales Force Automation (SFA)


Optimall is an application that offers its beneficiaries the possibility to choose any operating mode/solution or combination of integrated operating modes/solution from the following list:


The Optimall GPS version of the product is integrating a classic SFA solution with a module for fleet tracking through a Global Positioning System. Optimall GPS can be used both in Romania and abroad.

 

Operating Modes of the Communication Application


Optimall has been developed for clients with or without access to the Internet through a static IP address. Regardless of its operating mode, the system performs bidirectional data transfer using the following channel:

The agent's mobile terminal <--> Optimall's back office system <--> The company's accounting/ERP system

Depending on the way the physical connection between the agent operating in the field and the company's headquarters is established, three operating modes can be defined:

  • the off-line version, in which the data transfer between the mobile terminal and the databases takes place only at the company's headquarters. As long as the agent is in the field, (s)he cannot do any data transfers.
  • the cable-based on-line version. This operating mode fits perfectly customers who are relying on servers with static IP addresses. The sales/merchandising agent's location does not impede the data transfer between the mobile terminal(s) and the server(s), which make use of Romania's Internet infrastructure.
  • the GPRS-based on-line version. This operating mode is ideal for clients who do not have servers with static IP addresses. Such companies will transfer their data using a special GPRS terminal ("General Packet Radio Services"), equipped with a Connex card. That terminal communicates with the AROBS' communication server, which enables the bidirectional flow of information between the agent and her company's accounting or ERP system.

 

Features of the Operating Modes


A) The Optimall Pre-sales Operating Mode


This operating mode enables the following pre-sales activities:

  • data management for products, clients, orders and payments
  • recording and editing of POS (point of sales) information
  • creating the daily POS visitation plan

 

B) The Optimall Van-Sales Operating Mode


The mode enables the following direct sales activities:

  • data management for products, clients, orders and payments
  • recording and editing of POS (point of sales) information
  • creating the daily POS visitation plan
  • the VAN's inventory management: loading, unloading, depositing
  • invoicing
  • merchandise returns
  • payments
  • analysis of other information
  • message delivery/reception

 

C) The Optimall Merchandising Operating Mode


This mode is offering you a wide array of tools for reporting and analysis such as:

  • gathering and managing the information regarding the clients, the own products, the competing products, and POS
  • creating the daily POS visitation plan
  • displaying of the daily routes
  • gathering information on the prices practiced by your company and by your competitors
  • monitoring promotional activities
  • monitoring suppliers and sales/merchandising agents
  • gathering and managing other important information about the market
  • updating data on the points of activity  (POA)
  • data entry for information acquired during questionnaire-based surveys (e.g.: product availability, prices, distribution on shelves). This information is transferred to your marketing information system
  • report generation for promotions
  • sending/receiving messages

 

D) Analysis and Reporting


Upon request, Optimall can also include a strong and reliable instrument for analysis and reporting.

Since the reports and tools for analyses regarding pre-sales and van-sales activities are usually generated by the customer's ERP system, our report generators cover mostly the requirements of the merchandising activities.

Optimall's modules for reporting and analysis cover the following areas:

  • investments in mobile points of sales (POSM)
