Our application uses mobile terminals (Personal Digital Assistants) with or without data transmission through "Global System for Mobile communication" - "General Packet Radio Services" (GSM - GPRS). Optimall is targeting suppliers with local or national coverage whose sales or merchandising agents are working in the field. Of the two types of mobile devices (Personal Digital Assistants) available, we prefer working with Palms for both financial and functional considerations. These terminals are perfectly suited to the current needs of the Romanian market. Despite the low number of customers favoring Pocket PC's over Palms, we are aware of these terminals' great potential and we have therefore developed a software solution for them.

With Optimall, the mobile terminals can be permanently hooked to the central computer system of the client, enabling a bidirectional transfer of information between the company headquarters and its sales/merchandising agents.
