Answer: ABOS (Advance Back-Office System) is a complex software solution targeting travel agencies of all sizes. The application is made of modules and links the ticketing, outgoing, incoming, and internal departments with the finance-accounting department and with the agency's management and/or its headquarters.

Question: What can you tell us about AROBS's experience with software solutions for travel agencies
Answer: AROBS has been involved in this field since the beginning of 2003 and has implemented its systems at over 10 Romanian travel agencies.

Question: On average, how long does it take to implement the ABOS solution?
Answer: Installing ABOS only takes approximately two hours for the server and 10 terminals. The time consuming component of implementation is training, which requires approximately one day for 5 people and 2 days for 10 people.

Question: How much does the ABOS system cost?
Answer: The price varies with the number of modules ordered and of databases and reservation systems used in your agency. We will let you know the exact price after getting all the necessary information from you.

Question: Is ABOS a scalable solution?
Answer: Yes. If you wish, we can add functions to the existing modules or develop new modules according to your precise specifications.

Question: Are any changes in my database and reservation systems required to install ABOS?
Answer: All the required changes are implemented in our product and in the interface area.

Question: How does ABOS' customization work?
Answer: The AROBS team and your people outline the customization details, which are then used during implementation. Each added function is rigorously tested, for the most exacting requirements.

Question: What criteria can I use to decide which modules of ABOS I need?
Answer: Your sales volume, the nature of your offers, the price of the application and the way you wish to manage your agency. You are the only one who can make the final choice, after carefully analyzing the application's main features

Question: What databases can be interfaced with ABOS?
Answer: The standard version of the product has been initially designed to work with Microsoft Access. Later on, we realized that many users where moving away from this application and therefore adjusted ABOS to allow for easy interfacing with systems such as Microsoft SqlServer 7.0 or Centura SqlBase 7.5.1

Question: What risk management procedures do you have in place for ABOS?
Answer: We outline and implement these procedures with you. The activities geared toward system improvement, testing and implementation have the highest risk level attached to them. Therefore, we are treating them with the greatest attention possible.

Question: What warranties are you offering for the application?
Answer: Stipulations from the warranty certificate are offering details on this issue. Prior to signing the contract you may request such a certificate for analysis. Over the warranty period AROBS takes it upon itself to solve any problem owed to other causes that the improper use of the Optimall system's hardware and software. Malfunctions caused by the beneficiary's carelessness will also be solved, but only for the fee specified in the contract.

Question: How can I get technical support for the application?
Answer: By requesting it either by phone or by email, at the numbers and addresses you will get when signing the contract. Regardless of the problem, you will get an answer within a work day from the moment we received the request. Emergencies can be handled instantly, by phone.
