Accolades for AROBS in Switzerland

E-School, AROBS's application for distance learning, won the “Best of Trado 2005” award at the “Business Solutions” section organized during the IT Orbit-iEX show, which was held in Basel, Switzerland, between May 24 and May 27, 2005. Orbit-iEX is the most important show for IT products and solutions organized in Switzerland.

The application developed by AROBS competed against 45 products belonging to companies from all over the world. eSchool attracted the jury's praises for its usefulness, intuitive graphical interface and mostly for innovation. It is worth mentioning that the jury consisted of reputed swiss specialists from the IT sector, researchers and university professors, representatives of the banking and insurance industries as well as of the most important software developers.

“The prize earned by AROBS Transilvania Software consists in a week of training in marketing/sales or a technic field at a prestigious software developer from Switzerland, which is interested in purchasing eSchool licences. Other companies have also displayed interest in having our product customized and integrated with their solutions“, declared Mr. Voicu Oprean, who represented AROBS at Basel.

E-School, the winner of the "Business Solutions" section, represents a virtual class fitted with all the functionalities that make distance education a highly rewarding experience. Using it, students and professors can interact over the Internet, thus eliminating the geographical limitations specific to the traditional learning settings. Components such as the modules for chat, voice and videoconference, the whiteboard and recorder come together to shape a modern academic environment, which impressed both the members of the jury and the visitors of the show.
