"Why Optimall?

The nature of our activity (import and distribution) and the highly dynamic business environment in which we operate has recently made it obvious that a productivity increase was mandatory. We were in great need of having our agents' activities optimized. The same holds true for the activities taking place in our warehouses. With these issues on the table, we had no choice but to outsource the task of developing an SFA system. The answer came from Arobs Transilvania, in the form of Optimall.

The end of 2004 found us with the implementation over at the company's headquarters from Bucharest, while January saw the implementation started at the local branches (e.g.: Braila). At this time, after using Optimall long enough, I can say that this solution markedly optimized the activities of our sales agents and distributors. This means that taking orders from the clients and delivering the merchandise happen faster and better.

The time required to prepare and send the invoices has been cut in half. This improvement has directly influenced the work performed in warehouses, as the merchandise is now loaded and shipped in a much shorter time than before having Optimall up and running. Furthermore, the SFA solution allowed us to keep track of the sales agents' activities in a much better way, by monitoring the time spent taking an order from the client.

A rigorous analysis allowed us to optimize the daily routes and to significantly decrease the fuel costs. The ability to send orders online has eliminated the need to have the sales agents present every day at the headquarters. A weekly visit is now enough.

These are only a few of the aspects that must be taken into account before deciding to implement the Optimall solution, which we highly recommend to any distribution company willing to increase the efficiency of its sales force and to remain competitive in a world marked by dynamism."
