History

AROBS Transilvania Software is a privately held company that was founded in 1998 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania by a group of young and highly skilled programmers, committed to capitalize on the experience they had acquired while working for companies located in developed countries.

Started as a software outsourcing center, AROBS has later diversified its activities by developing and distributing its own software solutions. These products address the needs of the Romanian market in three important industries:

• retail/distribution,
• tourism and
  
• transportation
  

Most of our solutions have mobile, wireless and embedded technologies at their heart. The main objective of our division for wireless technologies is to develop software for various devices and multiple wireless standards and protocols.

The company has also turned its attention toward software nearsourcing, as more and more local companies are willing to cut back on their IT&C costs.
